| Taxon Notes: |
In den Referenzwerken wird die Sippe durchweg als Art (P. tomentella) eingestuft. Oft treten jedoch Übergangsformen zu P. fontana auf, die nur schwer einzuordnen sind (vgl. auch Nyholm 1998: 263). Zu diesen ist wohl auch P. osterwaldii zu rechnen, das manchmal zu P. tomentella (Corley & al. 1981), manchmal aber eher zu P. fontana gestellt wird (Nyholm 1954-69). Aufgrund dieser Zwischenformen erscheint es passender, beide Taxa weniger strikt und nur auf der Ebene von Varietäten voneinander abzutrennen. |
